Review wage evidence
Open the Lineage behind a computed figure to see the wage data release it relies on and how the figure was derived.
Who does this: Preparer, Reviewer, Firm Admin. Anyone assigned to the Study as Preparer or Reviewer can open Lineage, and so can a Firm Admin. The Study needs a completed calculation run.
Steps
- Open the Study on the Review tab. The schedule lists each computed figure.
- In the row for the figure, go to the Evidence column and select Lineage.
- The rail beside the schedule opens with the figure name and amount.
- Read the data release the figure relies on: publisher, version, period covered and retrieval date, with its content hash checked at read.
- Follow the numbered steps from the source value to the figure, then read the recorded rationale.
Good to know
Each Lineage you open is recorded on the Study. The figures the Reviewer opened appear as inspection coverage at Sign-off, which never blocks Sign-off.
