Resolve Consistency Check flags
Fix an intake answer a Consistency Check flagged, or acknowledge it with a recorded reason.
Who does this: Preparer, Reviewer. The assigned Preparer edits the answer or acknowledges the flag. A Reviewer can open Resolve in Intake to inspect the flagged section, which is read-only for them, and never sees Acknowledge with reason.
Steps
- Open the Study. Each open flag appears as a card above the Study tabs.
- Read the card: its first line states the problem and the next line says what to do.
- To correct an answer, select Resolve in Intake. The Intake tab opens at the flagged section, and you come back to the flag afterwards. Only the assigned Preparer can edit the answer there.
- If the answers are right as recorded, the Preparer selects Acknowledge with reason.
- Write why the answers stand in Reason for acknowledging, then select Record acknowledgment.
Good to know
A flag never changes a recorded value. An acknowledged flag stays on the record with its reason, and the Reviewer sees every flag disposition at Sign-off.
