Connect to QuickBooks
Authorize TracePrep to read your QuickBooks Online company file using the official Intuit OAuth 2.0 flow.
What TracePrep does
TracePrep helps CPA firms produce tax workpapers with a clear source for every number. When you connect QuickBooks Online, TracePrep can read accounting data directly from your authorized company file rather than asking you to export and re-upload it.
What we ask for
- Scope:
com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting(Accounting). TracePrep does not request the Payments scope or the OpenID scope. - Read access to the QuickBooks Online company file you select during the Intuit consent screen — for example, chart of accounts, transactions, customers, vendors, invoices, and reports.
Who can see the data
Only authorized TracePrep Inc. personnel, acting on your engagement, may access QuickBooks Online data on your behalf. We do not sell QuickBooks Online data and do not use it to train third-party models. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the full statement.
How to disconnect
You can revoke TracePrep's access at any time from inside QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps → Connected Apps). See Disconnect QuickBooks for guidance and reconnect steps.
You will be redirected to Intuit to approve the connection.
